Exact Search UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled Stock Controller to join their team at the fashion studio in Salford. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the movement, storage, and tracking of products within the warehouse facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage in-coming shipments and organize delivery schedules and invoicing
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records
- Generate reports on stock levels, order status, and inventory performance for management review
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of incoming stock
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and take proactive measures to address slow-moving or obsolete items
- Proven experience in stock control and management
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Sales & Account Management, Finance, and Merchandising
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Driving licence for small van
