Your New Role
We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join our client, a leading International Manufacturing Group in Manchester. As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for managing the monthly reporting process and group consolidation of financial statements at year-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Group Financial Controller in leading the high-performing group reporting team
- Manage the monthly reporting process and group consolidation of financial statements
- Implement an effective testing platform to manage risk and ensure compliance in a regulated environment
- Lead a team with direct reports to support the completion of duties
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with a good technical accounting knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP/FRS 102
- Manufacturing experience within a larger multinational
- Strong comprehension of various risk and control frameworks
- Drive and ambition to take on responsibility in a successful and growing organisation
