This international manufacturing group in Manchester has achieved consistent growth in recent years and now sits as a key operator in the sector. The company has a collaborative, corporate office environment and is looking to bring someone to lead the high-performing group reporting team on an interim basis.
Your new role
As an interim financial controller, you will support the group financial controller and the senior management team in managing the monthly reporting process and group consolidation of financial statements at year-end. You will consistently look for ways to improve the financial control framework and implement an effective testing platform to manage risk and ensure compliance in a regulated environment.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a sound technical understanding and be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with good technical accounting knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP/FRS 102. The client will favour candidates with manufacturing experience within a larger multinational. You will also have a strong comprehension of various risk and control frameworks and a drive and ambition to take on responsibility in a successful and growing organisation.
