Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the monthly reporting process and group consolidation of financial statements at year-end.

About the Role:

As Interim Financial Controller, you will support the Group Financial Controller and senior management team in achieving our financial goals. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the monthly reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information
  • Group consolidation of financial statements at year-end, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the financial control framework and implementing effective testing platforms to manage risk
  • Leading a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of financial objectives

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A sound technical understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Qualifications in accounting (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) and experience in a similar role
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP/FRS 102
  • Manufacturing experience within a larger multinational an advantage
  • Strong comprehension of risk and control frameworks
