Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Radiology Nursing team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.

Main Responsibilities

As a Radiology Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing safe and effective care to patients undergoing various imaging procedures, including Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, and Plain Film x-ray.
  • Working collaboratively with the Clinical Nurse Educator to develop and implement evidence-based practice and improve patient outcomes.
  • Supporting the care of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including the new state-of-the-art Community Diagnostic Centre.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse on the NMC Register.
  • Recent experience of nursing in an acute hospital environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant speciality, including radiology and imaging services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
