About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon to join our team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be based at Leighton Hospital, Crewe, and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with a range of ENT conditions.
Key Responsibilities
The postholder will be expected to provide a general workload in addition to a subspecialist workload in Facial Plastic Surgery. This will involve working closely with other members of the ENT team to provide diagnostic services for Head and Neck Cancer patients. The postholder will also be responsible for teaching and education, and will be expected to contribute to the development of the ENT service.
Requirements
- Full GMC Registration and a Licence to Practise
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT, CESR, or European Community Rights
- An appropriate higher ENT qualification
- Wide experience of general otolaryngology
- Evidence of an ability to lead a team by positive example and effective organisational skills
