Job Title: Nursing Lead Professional

We are seeking an experienced Nursing Lead Professional to join our team at Friends of the Elderly. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Our picturesque homes in Malvern provide a warm and welcoming environment for individuals with dementia, as well as residential and nursing care. Our compassionate team provides personalized care, prioritizing residents' needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the General Manager in leading the care staff and nurses to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Take the lead on supporting and facilitating the nursing and medical needs of our residents, ensuring legislative requirements are met and best practice is followed.

You will oversee the duty rota, ensuring an optimal skills mix and numbers on duty meet residents' assessed needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize opportunities and identify areas for improvement, sharing insights with the General Manager.

Requirements:
  • Be registered with a relevant body, such as the NMC.
  • Proven experience working within a similar role, preferably in a care setting.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult safeguarding.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to communicate effectively with external health professionals.
