Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Specialist to join our Macmillan Breast Cancer team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with patients across the Bradford region, providing holistic care and support throughout their breast cancer journey.

Main Responsibilities
  • Liaise with line managers and multidisciplinary team colleagues to develop skills and competencies in providing patient care.
  • Manage a clinical caseload and work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of breast cancer care and treatments, as well as local and national initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience.
  • Experience of working with breast cancer or oncology patients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain flexibility to meet service needs.
