Job Title: Surgical Nurse Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgical Nurse Specialist to join our expanding Endoscopy Unit at an NHS service near Bradford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and treatment to patients, working under the direction of the Sister/Charge nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the delivery of individual programmes of care by undertaking duties such as pre-assessment, outpatients clinic, preparation of the department to receive patients, coordination of patient flow through the department, acting as a chaperone, and management of laboratory specimens.
- Participating in the assessing, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized plans of care.
- Providing care to ensure the safe and effective delivery of surgical services.
