Job TitleWe are seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our Family Law department as a Secretarial Support Officer. This full-time opportunity involves providing comprehensive secretarial support, facilitating the coordination of activities and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare Reports: Utilise Bighand for audio typing to produce high-quality reports.
- Maintain Filing Systems: Organise and maintain filing systems, including scanning and implementing paperless solutions.
- Liaise with Fee Earners: Coordinate administration tasks, prioritising and managing deadlines effectively.
- Record Phone Calls and Inquiries: Handle phone calls, inquiries, and requests efficiently.
- Operate Equipment and Systems: Utilise photocopiers, binders, and other equipment proficiently.
- Provide Technical Assistance: Offer support to partners, practice managers, and colleagues as needed.
- Administrative Experience: Proven track record of providing administrative support in a legal or related environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Time Management: Effective prioritisation and time management skills, ensuring deadlines are met consistently.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using audio typing software, such as Bighand, and familiar with office equipment and systems.
This role offers a competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, and opportunities for career development within a supportive and innovative environment.
