About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Credit Controller to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for managing the entire credit control process, from initial contact with clients to final resolution of outstanding debts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit control, with experience of working in a professional services environment. You should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of achieving strong results, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring bills are sent in accordance with the collection policy timelines
  • Liaising with the partners to ensure timely resolution of client queries on unpaid invoices
  • Meeting monthly to review debt and discuss challenging areas
  • Liaising directly with clients' finance teams to chase outstanding debts and keeping accurate records of conversations/communications

Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • A strong understanding of credit control processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to build strong working relationships with managers and fee earners
  • Familiarity with ARCS and Aderant systems would be advantageous
