Job Summary

1:1 Support Role
  • 10 hours a week
  • 11.30am - 1.30pm (Monday - Friday)
  • Term time only plus INSETS
  • You may be required to complete paid training outside of these hours

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking teaching assistant to support our students with complex needs at Fosse Way School. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students' emotional, social, and physical needs. This will include supporting with feeding, toileting, and medication, as well as providing general support and care. Applicants will need to be confident, resilient, and have excellent communication skills. Previous experience of working in a special school is an advantage, although training will be provided. The position will be an excellent opportunity for colleagues looking for a new challenge. We warmly welcome visits to our school so you can see for yourself all we have to offer.
