**Job Title:** SEN Teaching Assistant

**Job Type:** Full-time and Part-time

**Location:** Bath

**About Us:** Hanson Recruitment Limited is a leading recruitment agency specializing in education and childcare placements. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team.

**Job Summary:** We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide support to students with special educational needs in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN and be able to provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of each student.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide dedicated support to SEN pupils and other pupils in class
* Support students' academic progress and development
* Enable pupils with SEN to become independent learners
* Encourage participation of pupils in social and academic processes of the school
* Assist with student behavior management and social-emotional development
* Follow all school behavior, safeguarding, and Health and Safety policies

**Requirements:**

* Experience working with children with special educational needs
* Strong understanding of SEN and ability to provide tailored support
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to providing high-quality support to students
