VolkerWessels UK is seeking a skilled Site Manager to join our team on the HS2 project in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the waterproofing and firestopping of precast concrete cut and cover tunnels, including 4 shafts.

About the Role

  • Lead a team of professionals in ensuring the successful delivery of the project
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Manage quality documentation and ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members

Requirements

  • Proven experience in concrete and waterproofing on large projects
  • Familiarity with CDM regulations and Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
