About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our Project & Programme Services team at AtkinsRéalis. As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in delivering some of the most prestigious construction projects across the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain schedules, working interfaces, and engage with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain and manage baselines to support contractual and performance metrics.
  • Provide meetings and workshops to challenge project progress and performance.
  • Support Planning/Project Controls Managers to maintain schedules and interfaces.
  • Manage contract requirements for schedules.
  • Provide advanced hierarchical reporting outputs, including Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Experience in integrating schedule, cost, and risk functions.
  • Provide critical path evaluation and scenario planning options to mitigate issues and improve efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Experience in multiple large projects.
  • Contract experience (NEC, JCT, FIDIC, Rail Frameworks).
  • Stakeholder management experience.
  • Advanced reporting techniques.
  • Integrated multi-discipline project controls skillset.
  • Professional memberships/accreditations.
  • Strong business awareness.
  • Pro-active approach to planning innovation.

Desirable

  • Forensic planning.
  • Certified P6/Asta Powerproject.
  • Experience in multiple large, multi-discipline projects.

Specific to Role Advertised

  • Proven experience in the rail industry.
  • Understanding of rail systems and technologies.
  • Experience in rail contracts.
  • Knowledge of regulatory bodies and DfT.
  • Experience in integrated multi-discipline schedules.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder experience.
