About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to our residents. Your responsibilities will include supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants, supporting the clinical team in specific areas such as medication, assessments, and care plans, and creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment for our residents.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care and specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. We offer a competitive rate of pay (£22,000 per annum), plus a range of benefits, including free training and development opportunities, access to wellbeing and support tools, and retail discounts and savings.
