Position Overview
We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity to become a part of our Engineering Team located in Northwich as a Senior Engineering Supervisor.
Role Objective: To oversee the provision of Engineering support at the Northwich facility around the clock, enabling the Engineering team to meet the necessary service levels aligned with our manufacturing objectives. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient operation of the department through the engineering shift teams. It involves prioritizing daily tasks and ensuring compliance with site policies and procedures.
Your Contributions:
- Lead and organize the activities of a shift engineering team to support the operations team effectively.
- Oversee the completion of Planned Maintenance (PM) and other equipment evaluations.
- Act as the primary engineering contact for Shift Managers.
- Assist in Short Interval Control and participate in daily end-of-shift review meetings with Shift Managers.
- Engage in Improvement Groups focused on initiatives such as waste reduction.
- Provide a thorough and clear handover to the incoming shift engineering team.
Your Qualifications:
- A fully qualified and seasoned Engineer (preferably with multi-skilled capabilities) possessing a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Trained in 17th Edition Electrical Regulations (preferred).
- Experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.
- Proven experience in team leadership.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to mentor and support colleagues.
Shift Schedule: 4 on 4 off, operating 24/7 (2 days/2 nights)
