Maintenance and Repair Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance and Repair Expert to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our complex, including internal and external maintenance tasks, supervision of contractors, and building a network of local suppliers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Carry out maintenance tasks to repair faulty, broken, or damaged areas of the complex.
  • Undertake maintenance tasks within your level of qualification, prioritizing staff and customer safety.
  • Report maintenance tasks requiring expenditure to management and recommend remedial action.
  • Advise management on long-term maintenance projects and provide estimates for specialist services.
  • Liaise with local contractors, monitoring their work and ensuring compliance with our health and safety policy.
  • Provide maintenance services for outdoor artificial surfaces, including redistribution of sand and rubber infill, white lining, and brushing.
  • Maintain and repair pitch perimeter fencing, working at heights as necessary.
  • Remove litter and broken glass from pitches, walkways, car parks, and other areas within the site boundary.
  • Secure stock, working materials, and equipment, conducting regular stock checks and reporting anomalies to management.
  • Assist with beer cellar management, including stock rotation, pipe cleaning, and safe storage of gas supplies and beer barrels.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in maintenance and repair, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be physically fit and able to work at heights.
