About the Role
NHS Property Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - Plumbing to join our team based in Wembley. This is a mobile role covering the Hounslow, Hillingdon, and Brent areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance services to ensure our properties are well-maintained and safe for our customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and wellbeing policies, technical guidance, and procedures.
- Deliver scheduled, reactive, and remedial maintenance services as directed by the PPM planner, helpdesk, or Technical Services Supervisor.
- Perform fault finding, minor repairs, or installations, and maintain services and equipment in critical environments.
- Assess problems to determine the best course of action and communicate technical information to various stakeholders.
- Maintain effective site log books at all NHS premises where required.
Requirements
- At least one of the following qualifications: BTEC City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 Plumbing Engineering, or Formal Plumbing Apprenticeship.
- Full UK driving license.
- Previous experience working in a buildings maintenance environment.
- Experience delivering maintenance services to a specification such as SFG20.
