Access Equipment Maintenance Technician

Path Recruitment is collaborating with a leading Plant and Tool rental organization that is committed to delivering exceptional service quality. We are currently in search of a skilled Access Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their esteemed team, possessing hands-on experience in the maintenance of powered access machinery.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven, showcasing strong maintenance and inspection capabilities for powered access equipment, while demonstrating a proactive and enthusiastic approach to problem-solving to uphold high standards consistently.

A CAP Licence or progress towards obtaining one is a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities of The Access Equipment Maintenance Technician

  • Service and repair a diverse range of powered access machinery, including specialized units such as Cherry Pickers, Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, and MEWPs, on behalf of a major hire company.
  • Manage administrative duties and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and punctually.
  • Maintain composure under pressure while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations in line with company standards.

Essential Skills of The Access Equipment Maintenance Technician

  • Experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems, preferably in plant maintenance or powered access sectors.
  • Proficient in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing access platforms effectively.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Competence in diagnostics.
  • Possession of a CAP licence and IPAF certification is mandatory.
  • A valid Full Driving Licence.
  • NVQ in Plant Maintenance or an equivalent qualification.
