About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Professional to join our team as a Sales Professional - Area Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing new business opportunities within their designated territory.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Selling all Scolmore Ltd product offerings into distributors within your area, focusing on demand generation with contractors and end-users.
  • Engaging in proactive sales out activities, including joint sales calls, trade counter events, local ECA branch meetings, and product training.
  • Presenting and gaining agreement from customers to ensure they see our approach as added value, supporting both customer and commercial requirements.
  • Working proactively with your portfolio, maintaining CRM records, and ensuring regular visits and calls are made to maximize opportunities.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • A proven track record of success in sales, with experience operating at the high-value account level.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities and strategically develop them within Scolmore's commercial trading philosophy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  • The ability to work autonomously, planning diaries, and making decisions independently.
  • A full and clean driving license is required for this role.
