Deputy Manager - Clinical

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Oakcroft House Care Home. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and assist with all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
  • Create and update individual care plans for our residents, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medication records.
  • Ensure adequate staffing is maintained within the home.
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the team, promoting our residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
  • Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, as well as fostering a sense of community within the home.
  • Liaise with local partners to raise the care home's profile and promote our services.
Requirements:
  • A valid UK NMC pin and commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct and professional development.
  • Understanding of the impact of quality nursing care on residents' lives, promoting independence, choice, and dignity.
  • Staying up-to-date with tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
  • Ability to build relationships, lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills, with a compassionate and team-oriented approach.
