About the Role

Freedom Leisure is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Swim Instructor Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your teaching skills and make a real difference in the lives of our customers.

As a Swim Instructor Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced swim instructors in delivering swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities. You will work closely with your colleagues to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all pool users.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about swimming and has excellent communication skills. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of up to £12.96 per hour, plus a range of benefits including discounted staff membership, incremental holidays, and access to our Employee Assistance Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities
  • Work closely with experienced swim instructors to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all pool users
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
