Graduate Mental Health Practitioner

Academics Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Graduate Mental Health Practitioner to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with children with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs in a specialist school based in Cowley, Oxford.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Psychology, Counselling or Criminology and be able to provide support to students with complex needs. A salary of £83-95 per day reflects the importance of this role in supporting the well-being of students.
As a Graduate Mental Health Practitioner, you will work closely with therapists and psychologists to develop strategies to promote positive mental health outcomes. You will also contribute to creating a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop Individual Education Plans
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive school culture
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents and carers
