We are seeking a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Academics LTD
This is an exciting opportunity to work with children who have experienced trauma and adversity, and to make a positive impact on their lives.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing emotional support and guidance to students with mental health needs, and for developing and implementing individualized education plans in collaboration with the teaching team.
The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits to support your well-being and career development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with complex learning disabilities
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students with mental health needs
- Collaborate with the teaching team to identify and address student needs
Requirements:
- Degree in Psychology or related field
- Experience working with children with complex learning disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
