We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Treasurer at Goodman Masson. Reporting into the Head of Treasury, this role will have a broad remit across all day-to-day activity, leading a team of three to deliver on cash management, forecasting, FX execution, risk and controls, and reporting.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing effective cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and minimize risk
  • Leading a team of three to deliver on treasury operations, including cash management, forecasting, and FX execution
  • Collaborating with the Head of Treasury to develop the FX strategy for the firm and drive business growth
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with treasury operations, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk
  • Providing regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders on treasury performance and trends

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury operations, with a focus on cash management and FX execution
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience leading a team of three or more
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • A deep understanding of financial markets and instruments, including FX, interest rates, and commodities
