Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication with the team.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Monitor progress, check materials, and ensure quality control on-site, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct site inductions and ensure all workers adhere to safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility.
  • Support the Site Manager with scheduling, inspections, and reporting progress to senior management, providing regular updates and insights.
  • Help maintain site records, including deliveries, timesheets, and site diaries, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in traditional build housing, with a strong understanding of construction processes and procedures.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, with a track record of success and achievement.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety standards in the construction environment, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Proficiency with site documentation and scheduling tools, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
