About The Role

Morrison Water Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our Construction Team in Colchester. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely completion, safety, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Supervisors, delivery teams, and sub-contractors on site
  • Implement and monitor health, safety, quality, and performance standards
  • Ensure all work meets required water industry regulations and AW approved standards
  • Accountable for SHEQ performance of Projects, including undertaking and record findings of periodic SHEQ visits
  • Act as an ambassador for the company, supporting, promoting, and implementing all company and Business Unit initiatives
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience in the water industry
  • Certificate in Site Safety Management (or attended 5-day course) and CSCS card
  • Experience in Civil, M&E/construction industry
  • Effective management of sub-contractors and ability to influence client judgement
  • Basic Management training, skills & experience, with a good understanding of legislative and corporate SHEQ / Industry / Legal requirements
  • Comprehensive IT abilities, including MS Suite, alongside good Project and programme management skills
