About the Role

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join our team at the New Victoria Hospital. As a key member of our Day Surgery Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing and be able to work effectively in a team to deliver excellent patient outcomes. Experience in the theatre environment is essential, and a First Level Registered Nurse or Registered Operating Department Practitioner qualification is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the theatre environment
  • Work effectively in a team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
  • Develop and maintain skills in multiple areas of the unit
  • Engage in multi-site working within South Sector NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde
Requirements
  • First Level Registered Nurse or Registered Operating Department Practitioner qualification
  • Experience in the theatre environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Flexibility to work in multiple areas of the unit
