About the Role

The Global Markets Product Manager - Assistant Vice President is responsible for executing a portfolio of strategic and tactical initiatives for State Street Global Markets. This role encompasses broad aspects of the business, including strategy development and implementation, new product and geographic expansion, trading systems and operational model design and implementation, governance approvals, and risk oversight.

The successful candidate will work with other Product Managers, Technology, Operations, Business Risk, Legal, and other business partners to execute initiatives and deliver product and infrastructure aligned with our strategic priorities. Due to the role requirements, this job needs to be performed primarily in the office.

Key Responsibilities

The Global Markets Product Manager - Assistant Vice President will be responsible for executing a subset of a complex portfolio and will be expected to drive execution in their assigned initiatives. Key responsibilities include translating business strategic vision into functional product plans, defining product features and developing product overviews, workflows, and visual artifacts to crystalize product use and process owners, working with technology to drive technology solutions and deliverables to meet business requirements, assessing and designing the end-to-end support model for go-live with respective stakeholders, documenting technology and other business partner demand, escalating competing priorities and constraints, building strong relationships with our GM team and business partners, resolving issues or roadblocks working with our GM Teams and Business Partners, and effectively communicating, collaborating, and building positive relationships.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have 7+ years of relevant industry experience, demonstrated analysis, issue resolution, and leadership skills, outstanding organizational, analytical, and consultative abilities, and the ability to work and progress analysis and/or projects independently. The candidate should also be able to quickly and succinctly document workflows, requirements, and project tasks.
