Product Marketing Specialist

OPTO is a pioneering thematic investment app, recently launched in the US, with a mission to revolutionize the retail investment industry. Our platform supports long-term wealth creation by automating portfolio management and highlighting powerful secular trends such as AI, Robotics, and Blockchain. We're seeking an innovative Product Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic, fast-growing team, where you'll play a crucial role in driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product features and market expansions, ensuring product-market fit and optimal positioning.
  • Spearhead product marketing campaigns, using eCRM (e.g. Braze) to execute on email, in-app, and push notifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Optimize the customer journey, focusing on onboarding and activation processes to improve conversion rates and reduce churn.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and customer needs, using insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Drive lead generation through innovative marketing tactics like eBooks, webinars, and targeted outreach.
  • Lead the creation and execution of content marketing strategies, including SEO articles, newsletters, and social media campaigns, targeting specific regions and customer segments.
  • Cultivate relationships with influencers and media partners to boost brand visibility and product adoption.
  • Use analytics tools to track campaign performance, user behaviour, and product usage, providing actionable insights to improve marketing efforts.
  • Set relevant KPIs to drive personal and team performance.
  • Manage complex marketing campaigns across multiple channels, requiring coordination with various cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct market research and user interviews to segment audience effectively. Deliver targeted communications across funnel stages. Synthesize findings to understand OPTO's audience deeply.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in product marketing, ideally within a tech or fintech environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies and successful product and product feature launches.
  • Experience in customer onboarding, activation, and retention strategies.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation tools and email marketing platforms.
  • Ability to manage and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, social media, and in-app platforms.
  • Expertise in data analytics and relevant tools to track user engagement and improve product features accordingly.
  • Exceptional content creation and editorial management skills, with a focus on tailoring content to different regions or customer segments.
  • Strong project management skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with market research and audience segmentation to inform strategy.
  • Ability to develop strategic partnerships and influencer relationships to drive growth.
