As a member of our allied health team, you'll have the opportunity to provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services across the scope of practice to empower children to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing speech pathology services to children with disabilities in a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model.
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to support children's communication and speech development.
- Collaborating with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support and care.
- Contributing to the development of clinical, administration, and management/leadership skills through formal and informal professional development opportunities.
About You
We're seeking an established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage with families using a family-centered, key worker approach. You'll also have an Australian driver's license and own vehicle, and a willingness to travel across western suburbs as required.
Appointment is subject to pre-employment checks, including the NDIS Worker Screening Check, Inherent Position Requirements Employee Declaration, Working with Children's Check, Reference Checks, and Speech Pathology Australia membership.
