Job Title: Band 6 Community Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Contract: 3 Month Contract

Hourly Rate: £28-30 p/h

Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate Occupational Therapist to work as part of a multi-disciplinary therapy team at a hospital in London. The successful candidate will have experience working with children aged 0-19, particularly those with ASD, LD, and SEN. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to children and families in a community setting
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify children's needs and develop strategies to support their development
  • Develop and maintain relationships with children, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in occupational therapy

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working with children aged 0-19, particularly those with ASD, LD, and SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
