Job Summary

NAPA Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Pediatric Specialist, you will work with children with various disabilities, providing expert intervention to enhance their functional skills and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address clients' limitations and goals.
  • Utilize a range of therapy techniques, including exercises, stretching, and adaptive equipment, to promote functional performance and independence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive developmental approaches to client-centered care.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and their families, providing education and support to promote carryover and continued progress.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
  • At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in pediatric settings, preferably with exposure to children with disabilities.
  • Current licensure with the appropriate licensing board and background clearance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong clinical expertise and ability to adapt to changing situations.
