Nursery Room Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Room Manager to join our team at Tops Day Nurseries. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years, promoting their educational and social development, and working closely with other team members to deliver high-quality care and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Develop and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's learning and development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years care and education.
  • Experience working with children aged 0-5 years, preferably in a nursery setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
