About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Surgical Same Day Emergency Care team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working autonomously to assess, examine, diagnose, and treat patients within our acute services.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with colleagues to deliver excellent patient care and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centred quality care, encompassing assessment, examination, diagnosis, and treatment within our acute services.
  • Support a new way of working that emphasizes a more efficient and patient-focused service, ensuring the safe referral and discharge of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations.
  • Deliver 80% clinical component to your role, with 20% dedicated to appraisal, clinical audit, teaching, self-development, development of the service, and research.
