About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Support Professional to join our team at Robin Hood Avenue, a small mental health, supported housing service working to a recovery model. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support services to individuals with mental ill health, helping them to access their local community and achieve their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to help individuals maintain their tenancy and independence in the community.
  • Work collaboratively with individuals to identify and achieve their goals, whether it's developing domestic and finance management skills or accessing work, leisure, or educational opportunities.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals, promoting their mental well-being and resilience.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive support network for individuals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with our recovery-focused approach.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in mental health support or a related field.
  • Understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and on-call duties.
  • Commitment to our recovery-focused approach and values.
