Insurance Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Account Handler to join our team at Howden. As a key member of our Corporate & Commercial department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the administration of new business, renewals, and mid-term changes.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle customer queries in a professional and effective manner, ensuring timely resolution and excellent service standards.
- Process adjustments in line with procedures, including notification to insurers, issue of revised documentation, and collection of additional premiums.
- Input data accurately and efficiently, maintaining high levels of data quality and integrity.
- Develop knowledge of commercial insurance products and services, with a focus on delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) are essential.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance is desirable, but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
