About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Festive Night Shift Assistant to join our team at Sainsbury's. As a key member of our night shift crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring our stores are well-stocked and ready for customers during the festive season.

As a Festive Night Shift Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our colleagues across the store, including stocking shelves, checking dates on products, and helping with deliveries. You will work closely with your team to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and ensure that our stores deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support colleagues across the store to ensure efficient operations
  • Stock shelves and check dates on products to maintain product freshness
  • Assist with unloading deliveries and restocking shelves
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be physically active, comfortable with lifting and moving heavy shopping containers, and confident working with new technology. You will also need to be able to work independently and use your initiative when required.

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a close-knit team. A keen attention to detail is essential, as you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service and product quality.

The estimated annual salary for this role is around £22,500 - £25,000, depending on experience and location.
