About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant based in Ipswich. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting patients with their daily living activities, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and comfort.

The role involves working varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. You will be required to travel between different care homes, covering gaps in our clients' rotas due to staff absence, sickness, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and using the toilet
  • Assisting patients with mobility issues, using hoists and equipment as necessary
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity at all times
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 4 months experience in a care home environment and excellent communication skills. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate of £10.00-£12.00 per hour and opportunities for career progression within the company.
