About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic services to a variety of surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopaedics, and trauma.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a flexible anaesthetic service to a range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopaedics, and trauma.
  • Participate in regular lists in various surgical specialties, with opportunities to develop a special area of interest.
  • Support the development of the anaesthetic service, including participation in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the teaching and training of undergraduate and junior doctors, as well as anaesthetic trainees.
  • Participate in audit projects and contribute to ongoing professional development.
