Job Title: Procurement and Supply Chain Lead

At OCS, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Supply Chain Lead to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for providing strategic support for procurement integration processes and continuous improvement within OCS UK & Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse multiple sources of data to identify potential synergy opportunities.
  • Identify key contracts and procurement activities that need to be moved over and ensure a smooth execution.
  • Deliver improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency and value of the procurement function.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring supplier due diligence is carried out on incoming supply chains.
  • Lead on Hive Up activities relating to M&A and internal legal entity changes and ERP changes.
  • Lead on the procurement workstream, reporting upwards on integration plans and progress.
  • Ensure integration tasks are effectively managed, and completed on time and risks escalated to the wider integration team.
  • Support the Procurement Leadership Team in driving the Group's Reasonable, Ethical and Sustainable Procurement policy and ESG objectives across the organisation.
  • Act in good faith and promote the long-term success of each company within the UK & Ireland group for the benefit of all members and wider stakeholders.
  • Adhere to and promote the UK & Ireland group's policies on equality & diversity, information security, health and safety and data protection in performing their duties and managing the departmental functions reporting to them.
  • Support and promote the UK & Ireland group's sustainability plans and policies, including the Carbon Management Plan and carry out duties in a resource-effective way, recognizing the shared responsibility of minimizing negative environmental impacts wherever possible.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a procurement environment.
  • Strong Change Management and Project management skills.
  • Experience developing or improving policies and processes.
  • An understanding of risk and how to mitigate.
  • Cross-functional leadership, collaboration, and relationship building skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Job location Ipswich but must be willing to travel to other OCS offices as required.
