The Role
We are seeking hardworking experienced or non-experienced, values-driven people to provide person-centred support to individuals across our services in the North of England. The role involves providing hands-on support to enable individuals to live great lives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing personal care duties, household chores, and meal preparation for individuals
- Supporting individuals with various disabilities, ranging from complex to minor
- Encouraging individuals to engage in activities such as arts and crafts, board games, cinema trips, and pub lunches
- Helping individuals try new things, learn, and get involved in various hobbies
- Adapting to changing health needs and providing emotional support
Requirements and Qualifications
We require individuals who possess good communication skills, a sense of humour, and flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, sleep-in shifts, and waking night shifts. A full induction will be provided, covering essential training on manual handling and other aspects of the role.
