Hairdresser Trainee Position

Job Summary

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our experienced stylists with daily salon tasks, including preparing equipment and materials, maintaining a safe working environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior stylists with preparing the salon for clients, including setting up equipment and supplies.
• Welcome clients and visitors, providing refreshments and ensuring a comfortable waiting area.
• Gown clients in preparation for treatments, and assist with shampooing, conditioning, and blow drying under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, restocking supplies as needed.
• Develop skills in client consultations, shampooing, conditioning, styling, cutting, colouring, and perming hair.

Requirements:

• No prior experience necessary, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential.
• Familiarity with basic hairdressing tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits:
