Job Overview

VANRATH is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for processing invoices and credit notes, verifying Goods Received Notes (GRNs), and reconciling creditor statements on a monthly basis.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in accounts payable and possess strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process all invoices and credit notes, checking for accuracy.
  • Verify GRNs against invoices and credits.
  • Coding and entering invoice data into the purchase ledger system.
  • Handle all purchase ledger enquiries.
  • Reconcile creditor statements on a monthly basis.
  • Set up BACS/faster payment runs and allocate payments to invoices.
  • Process transactions via Visa card and maintain receipts.
  • Support senior accounts team members with finance functions.


We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
