About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Platforms Product Owner to join our team at NewDay. As a Data Platforms Product Owner, you will be responsible for delivering the vision and roadmap for the product that creates value from our product data assets for internal consumers and external clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and agree OKRs with stakeholders to measure progress
  • Own & manage the prioritisation of the product backlog to deliver on agreed objectives
  • Work with the team of data engineers to deliver the backlog in partnership with Data Platforms leadership
  • Ensure the overall quality of the Product and follow Data governance practices
  • Establish and implement practices that empower Product Owners and Engineering teams
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Data Product Management role or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in a role combining Agile and Product skills, ideally with Financial Services experience
  • Strong technical skills working with Cloud Data Platforms, APIs & Cloud Services
  • Solid experience analysing problems and business needs and writing user stories and supporting requirements
  • Proven track record of collaborating and communicating effectively at all levels of the organisation
