Technical Product Manager - Data Platform

At Help Me Settle Ltd, we're revolutionizing the way we send, spend, and receive money across borders. Our new data platform is a game-changer, and we need a skilled Technical Product Manager to drive its development.

The platform is a complex domain that encompasses data, computing, networking, CI/CD, SRE, developer experience, and more. As a Technical Product Manager for Data, you'll be responsible for developing a product strategy and mindset for our analytics and data governance teams.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Strategic Vision

You'll own and drive the long-term strategy for our analytics platform, ensuring it meets current needs and anticipates future challenges.

Stakeholder Collaboration

You'll build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and data users across the organization, ensuring their needs and feedback are integral to the platform's development.

Fostering a Data-Driven Culture

You'll lead and influence the continuous improvement of our data repositories, setting the vision for a unified, high-quality data ecosystem.

Alignment, Prioritization, and Outcome Measurement

You'll utilize OKRs and agile methodologies to align your team's efforts with the broader strategic goals of the data platform.

  • Collaborate with your engineering team to integrate with data discovery platforms, governance platforms, and analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure your priority decisions align with the strategic goals of the database platform team.
  • Prioritize the development of self-service capabilities to improve the user experience of our analytics platforms.

About you:

  • You have a passion for the entire product development lifecycle and a strong affinity for data.
  • Familiarity with Looker and Superset or other BI Tools.
  • Experience as a Data Product Owner.
  • Some hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or Analytics Engineer.
  • Experience using or building data platform products.
  • Experience working with large-scale data.
  • Experience with data cloud warehouses, ideally Snowflake or Presto/Trino.
