Chief Engineer Required

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer to lead our client's innovative power electronics solutions in the automotive space.

Our client has a rich history in the automotive industry and is working towards a more sustainable future through the development of revolutionary powertrain technologies.

The successful candidate will join a team of technical experts who value a relaxed and open office environment, fostering collaboration and fresh ideas.

As a Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering quality power electronics solutions for various applications, from clean sheet to fully validated, production-ready hardware.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing projects to achieve budgeted margin and maintaining excellent relationships with customers
  • Proposing innovative R&D projects to the CTO
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance in the design of power electronic solutions
  • Checking and approving electronics designs to relevant quality standards

To be successful in this role, you will require knowledge of power electronics and magnetics technology, as well as practical experience with high voltage, high power switching power devices and power modules.

Familiarity with major standards relating to electrical and functional safety is also essential, as is expertise in thermal simulation and management for power electronics.
