Job Overview

F.J. Wilson is seeking a highly skilled Medical Training Manager to cover a 12-month maternity leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and administering all aspects of the medical training initiative.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time, 12-month contract with a salary of up to £49,500 per annum.
  • The role involves managing trainee and educator support, communications, and engagement, acting as a primary contact for both trainees and trainers.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in managing relationships with various stakeholders and have strong organizational skills.
  • Line-managing the Training Engagement Coordinator and FTC Training Coordinators is also an essential part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversight of the medical training initiative, ensuring its successful delivery and evaluation.
  2. Management of trainee and educator support, including training programs and resources.
  3. Effective communication and engagement with stakeholders, including trainees, trainers, and other departmental teams.
  4. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance involvement and customer service.
  5. Line management of staff, including setting objectives, performance reviews, and appraisals.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A strong understanding of medical careers and experience in managing committees is essential.
  • The ability to motivate staff, set objectives, and undertake performance reviews and appraisals is crucial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective stakeholder engagement.

Location and Work Pattern

This role offers a hybrid working pattern, with a minimum of two days per week in our London office. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a home-based environment and able to commute to the office as required.
