About the Position:

We are seeking a dedicated support worker to join our team in providing person-centred care for an individual with a mild learning disability and autism. This part-time role involves supporting the individual with daily living tasks and participating in their leisure activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accompany the individual to and from daily activities, including collecting them from local events and returning them home safely.
  • Assist with personal care needs, such as bathing and dressing, while ensuring the individual's comfort and dignity.
  • Participate in the individual's leisure activities, promoting social interaction and engagement.

Requirements and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work flexibly, adapting to changing circumstances, and demonstrate a patient and empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable individuals.

Salary and Benefits:
